PSR Specialist & Case Manager

Ruth Ukwenya is a Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Specialist and Case Manager with experience supporting adults navigating mental health and substance use recovery, daily living challenges, and life transitions.

She partners with clients to clarify personal goals, strengthen coping skills, and build practical routines that support stability—at home, at work, and in the community.

Ruth uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach grounded in recovery planning, harm reduction, and skills training. Her work often includes helping clients recognize emotional triggers, prevent crises, develop healthier coping strategies, and increase independence through ADL/IADL support, community integration, and coordination of needed services.

She also incorporates evidence-informed tools such as CBT-informed strategies, along with trainings including Seeking Safety and SAMA.

Known for being warm, organized, and dependable, Ruth creates a supportive environment where clients feel heard and encouraged while staying focused on measurable progress and real-life outcomes.
