Dr. Simonpeter Emokpaire, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Emokpaire is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with an extensive educational and professional background. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northern Kentucky University in 2024 and holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. With about half a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Emokpaire specializes in both pediatric and adult psychiatry. His clinical expertise includes the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and childhood mood disorders. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Emokpaire contributes to the future of nursing as an honorary faculty at both Northern Kentucky University School of Nursing and Walden University. His approach to patient care combines rigorous evidence-based practice with a compassionate understanding of his patients’ individual needs.

Ruth Ukwenya, PSR Specialist & Case Manager

Recovery-focused case management and psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR)

Ruth Ukwenya is a Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Specialist and Case Manager with experience supporting adults navigating mental health and substance use recovery, daily living challenges, and life transitions. She partners with clients to clarify personal goals, strengthen coping skills, and build practical routines that support stability—at home, at work, and in the community.

Ruth uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach grounded in recovery planning, harm reduction, and skills training. Her work often includes helping clients recognize emotional triggers, prevent crises, develop healthier coping strategies, and increase independence through ADL/IADL support, community integration, and coordination of needed services. She also incorporates evidence-informed tools such as CBT-informed strategies and trainings, including Seeking Safety and SAMA.

Known for being warm, organized, and dependable, Ruth creates a supportive environment where clients feel heard and encouraged—while staying focused on measurable progress and real-life outcomes.

LaTonya Boothe, LPC, brings 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families, with a special focus on trauma therapy for adults and youth (ages 3–18). Her approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-focused interventions to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
